From July 15th to August 15th we held a Remix Competition where any registered user of MultiTracks.com could download (for free) the original master recording of "All the Poor and Powerless" from The Digital Age. Well many of you downloaded and 27 of you sent in some really creative remixes of the song. Some of you remixed the tracks, others used nothing but the lead vocal and you added your own tracks. We removed names and descriptions and sent all 27 to The Digital Age for them to chose the winner and we're excited to announce that The Digital Age chose Christopher Lewis with his fantastic submission titled "The Flat Line Remix." Christopher won a bunch of cool prizes listed here, valued at more than $2000. The competition was a remix of The Digital Age's cover of "All The Poor & Powerless" from their digital album release called"Rehearsals."

We want to say a big thank you to The Digital Age for choosing the winners allowing us to use their original master stems for this Remix Competition. Also, big thanks to Ableton, Futuresonics, and Keith McMillen for partnering with us on the competition. We encourage you to check out products from these great companies. We've heard from so many of you how you had a blast mixing this song and so we'll be sure to hold more contests like this in the future.
