Harold and Elena represent a new generation of Christian musicians who are committed to creating new original music in Spanish for worship in churches. Their pop style is a blend of electronic and ballad sounds, while their lyrics reflect hearts eager to experience God's presence both in their personal lives and in the lives of their local community of believers. Before presenting their first album together, Harold Guerra already had a solo career and two albums to his credit, "Atmósfera" and "No hay imposible", productions in which his wife, Elena Witt-Guerra, also collaborated composing some songs, but "Desciende aquí" is the work that presents them as a common front. He, with Guatemalan roots, and she, born in Mexico of North American parents, have in the past actively participated in programs for the construction of water wells, provision of water filters, housing and micro-businesses for single mothers, as well as a medical clinic in low-income communities in Guatemala, also channeling food and clothing aid to thousands of people. They currently serve as pastors in a Christian church in Houston, Texas.
