PART TWO; ON THE KEYS
Whether in the forefront or sat back in the mix, at the heart of every great track is stable bass sound, adding all the necessary infrastructure for all the other instruments to be built upon. Since bass players today need to be comfortable on the keys or strings, Foundations offers a collection of easy to use, foundational bass sounds for either your bass guitar or bass synth rig.
Here, in part two, the focus is bass synth & as such you’ll find patches designed to help your key bass rig sound great & either sit comfortably in or cut appropriately through a mix. For bass guitar patches see part one.
Helping you to lay the right foundation.

Since it is commonplace for the bass player to be DI’d, all sounds in any of my bundles are built from the ground up to work as a DI’d signal but will, of course, sound great through an amp too.
All patches included are sampled from my own analog hardware: a Moog Sub Phatty, a Roland SH101 & then for a digital twist, a Teenage Engineering OP-Z. Each instrument rack included adds additional control for useful parameters, tone-shaping & effects all using exclusively Ableton’s own plugins.
All demos use exclusively the DI’d sounds available within this bundle.
Minimum Requirements: Ableton Live 10.1 Standard
