Today marks the official release of Omnisphere 2 from Spectrasonics! This new version of Omnisphere includes some incredible new features that make for an amazing upgrade. If you haven't upgraded yet or you're new to Omnisphere, you can purchase your copy today from Sweetwater.com. For those who purchased Omnisphere 1.5 between October 2014 and May 2015, you're eligible for a FREE upgrade. Peter James's Sounds included in Omnisphere 2 Library
As you start to browse through the 10,000+ patches included in Omnisphere 2, you may notice a familiar name included as a Patch Producer. Peter James had the incredible privilege of creating custom presets that are included for free in Omnisphere 2. We're incredibly excited and proud of Peter for this opportunity that comes because of his hard work and excellence as both a creative musician and Sound Designer. Make sure to check out the built-in library for some of Peter's patches.
Upgrading Peter James Omnisphere 1.5 patches
If you've previously purchase any Omnisphere patches from Peter James, you're in luck because the patches will work great with Omnisphere 2. The only upgrade you'll need to do is adjust where Peter's FX presets are stored. No fear though, we've created a support article on our support site that includes a video to show you how to upgrade those patches.
