Lamb of God was recorded live at The Mission in San Juan Capistrano, a settlement founded in 1776 and recognized as the birthplace of Orange County. Matt Redman’s new album reflects on the age-old centrality and wonder of the cross. The contrast of these brand-new songs in the context of a historical place of worship is a significant marker of Redman’s heart to keep the people of God singing to Him. The album’s title track encapsulates its concept, reminding the Church that among so many amazing sights in this world, the greatest wonder will always remain the Lamb of God on Calvary.
"The heartbeat behind this project was to carve out space for a handful of close friends and family, to take Sabbath - to worship and rest in the presence of God," explains Hannah. "The word Sabbath comes to us from the Hebrew word ‘Shabbat.’ Shabbat literally means 'to stop' or 'to rest.' The Sabbath is typically observed from Friday Sundown to Saturday Sundown. A day of worship, rest and an effort to eliminate distractions and draw near to God. And so, my hope is that this project will become a ‘Sundown’ moment for people just like you. An open door, signifying us stepping in to a time of rest and refreshing in God’s presence."
"Alright," is Melvin Crispell III's first single off his upcoming album, No Failure. This new project contains 10 tracks featuring Maranda Curtis and Joshua Copeland. Stockholm shares: "We love how this song was birthed out of a plain and simple conversation on what scriptures we had recently been reading. We all personally felt such a strong need to write something that would help us fix our eyes on what’s ahead, and that would remind us about the hope and joy we have received from God. We believe this song communicates just that. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
KingsPorch shares: "'Changes Everything' is based on the hymn, 'Great is Thy Faithfulness.' The love of God never changes, but it changes everything! Captives are set free. Guilt and shame are washed clean. There is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus."
