Carry The Fire is the brand new release from Colorado Springs based WorshipMob. The group came together in 2011 as a weekly meeting between two local worship teams, a ministry to empower worship leaders to minister to each other and worship together outside of church. They desired an authentic worship experience where they could simply follow where the Holy Spirit led. It didn't take long for word to spread and within the course of a year, there was an explosion of growth in the number of people who showed each week, eager for what God would do.
Today, WorshipMob is comprised of 70-80 men and women, representing 30 local churches, still meeting on a weekly basis to worship, encourage, and pray for one another. They have regularly recorded and made available live worship videos online on their Youtube channel, which has garnered over 56,000 subscribers and more than 9 million views. “We felt God's leading to create a unifying worship setting that transcends denominational limitations, and to unite the global Body of Christ to collectively experience the deep, intimate, and life-giving relationship that only Jesus provides,” shares Sean Mulholland, one of the collective's founders. “Our core mission is to share that we are all beloved sons and daughters, and to spend time learning to love our Father back with all our hearts... hopefully encouraging our friends around the world to do likewise.”
Carry the Fire does all that, capturing the collaborative nature of the group as well as the passion of life lived in the Spirit. "Satisfy" invites all to lay their burdens at the feet of Christ, finding peace and rest in Him. The ambience of the music sets a prayerful tone and the words encourage believers to "Come rest, come rest in Me, come find I’m all you need. I’m Yours and you are Mine, come find I satisfy." "Arrested By Grace" rejoices in God's redeeming grace and how though our own efforts fail, Jesus has made us new. This driving anthem proclaims, "You call me worthy, shame flooded by Mercy's sea. Forever forgiven, a new life has risen in me. Righteous and holy, sin always and fully erased. Beloved, accepted, my fall was arrested by Grace." "Our Father Has Won" echoes this theme, joyfully praising how God has conquered the curse of sin and has welcomed us as His sons and daughters, adopting us by His grace.
Mulholland states, “Our hearts are to encourage people to seek this intimacy with Father, to seek their true identity in Him. Only in him do we find our true value; only in him is peace and contentment, whatever our circumstances.”
