Edge of the Universe is the latest album from Cindy Cruse Ratcliff, recorded live at Lakewood Church where she serves as Senior Worship Leader. This new release follows up on her 2014 album, Heaven Raining Down, and features a unique mix of pop, rock and worship as it expresses the faithfulness of God and the promises He has made to His children. Cindy shares, "My hope is that when people listen to these songs, that they feel the full-faceted presence of God; from His tenderness, to His awesome power, to the joy that He brings, to the life that He gives, in every facet."
"Perfect Love" was inspired by the words of 1 John 4:18 which states that perfect love casts out fear. It encourages us to remember that Jesus' love is stronger and more powerful than anything we might face, "Every stronghold will be broken. We will see the heavens open. Fear is overcome by perfect love, perfect love. Every mountain will be leveled, every desert will be flooded. Fear is overcome by perfect love, perfect love." "Always Only Love" tenderly speaks of the way God pursues us, welcoming us as did the father of the prodigal son with His perfect and unfailing love, "Faithfully Lord, You pursue me. Arms wide open, You run to me. Always gracious, always holy. Jesus, You are always only love." "Costly" is a powerful anthem that offers Jesus full surrender of our lives no matter the cost, "I will surrender all of me even when it's costly. Now and forever, all of me even when it costs me everything, everything. I will lay it at your feet. I will surrender all of me even when it's costly."
