New MultiTracks Available from The Digital Age - Rehearsals Vol. 2

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
Rehearsals Volume 2 is the second EP from The Digital Age, following up on their first Rehearsals project, which they released in 2012.  Recorded and produced at their hometown studio in Waco, Texas, this second volume features a few hymns, some well known worship favorites, and original material.  The band shares, "One of our favorite things in the world is worshipping our God with the larger church, and we really see Rehearsals as our way of participating in the songs that have meant so much to the church at large. Hopefully our interpretations of these songs will inspire you to worship our God with a new passion, and we can’t wait to sing em’ with you guys in the near future!" The Rehearsals project came about when the band decided to document their rehearsal time in the studio as they practiced songs for their church.  "The whole Rehearsals idea is us learning songs that the church is singing and putting our own unique spin on them,” remarks member, Mark Waldrop.  He adds, "We all grew up in the south and have a deep affinity for hymns that we were raised singing, so “It Is Well” and “Blessed Assurance” were songs that we couldn’t wait to explore sonically. We’re involved with a collegiate ministry here in Waco called Vertical, and “Oceans” and “Fall Afresh” seem to be really connecting with the hearts of the college students near us. We wrote “All Rise (Jesus, Majesty)” with Jason Ingram last year and couldn’t wait to put it on a release. Finally, we wanted to round out the album with “Take Me Home,” a song written by a local worship leader in Waco that we all really connected with.”  Be sure to check out all the songs off this dynamic EP! We are also excited to announce that The Digital Age is our newest Patch Producer!  Check out their bundles, full of sounds they have used on their Rehearsals Vol. 2 and Evening Morning albums.  You'll definitely want to add these to your sounds collection!   Rehearsals Volume 2 - The Digital Age
