Worship For Everyone was born out of a vision that London-based worship leaders Nick and Becky Drake had to unite worshippers of all ages in praise. They share, "We used to talk about 'family worship' or 'all age worship'. We used to differentiate between 'kids' songs' and 'adult' songs'. But now, it's time to bring down the barriers between what is considered 'for children' and 'for adults' and instead build the big family of God." We are excited to bring you the MultiTracks from their brand new single, "City On A Hill" which is based on Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5:14.
Nick and Becky comment, "Jesus tells his listeners: "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." We are called and equipped as the Big Family of God, all ages and stages of life, to be a light to those around us because of the life of Jesus, in the power of the Spirit working through us as His people." "City On A Hill" emphasizes this truth and encourages worshippers to let their light shine to all the world, reminding them that if God is for them who can stand against them? The song is simple enough for children to learn quickly, yet will appeal to adults as well with its sound and meaningful message. Nick and Becky have also recorded a video in which they demonstrate how to play the song and teach hand motions that worship leaders can integrate in as they lead.
