New Christmas MultiTracks from Salvador

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
MultiTracks are now available from Salvador's 2014 Christmas album, Hope Was Born.  The Dove Award winning Christian Latin Pop band brings their own unique big band latin/tex-mex sound to a number of Christmas favorites such as "Joy To The World" and "Go Tell It On The Mountain," along with two original songs, "Happy Holidays," and "Hope Was Born."  The album offers some nice options for your Christmas services with songs that range from upbeat and funky to prayerful and contemplative. "Joy To The World" features guest artists The Katinas and has a nice pop sound and great backing vocal line, the familiar chorus segueing into an original bridge that builds upon the phrase, "Heaven and nature sing the wonders of His love." "Go Tell It On The Mountain" rejoices in the Savior's birth with a fun, bluesy Southern feel while "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" and "Angels We Have Heard On High" are given a Latin flare.  "Noche de Paz" is a Spanish version of "Silent Night" that is both intimate and acoustic and features lead vocalist Nic Gonzalez and his wife, Jaci Velasquez. The album's title track, "Hope Was Born" is a heartfelt anthem that focuses on true reason we celebrate Christmas in the midst of the rush of the holiday season, sharing a message that's both timely and powerful, "Deep in the midnight sky, spoke His name in brilliant lights.  Choirs of angels echoed out His praise.  The poorest and the richest men stood in awe of Heaven's gift.  For everyone who calls upon His name, hope was born that day."  It reminds us of the full meaning of this time of year.
