Gateway Worship is breaking down barriers with the release of their highly anticipated sixth live recording Walls. Recorded earlier this year at their church in Southlake, Texas, Walls promotes unity in the body of Christ capturing deep moments of worship and expressing the unchanging truth of God's love for His people. Gateway Church associate senior pastor Thomas Miller explains, "It seems like there are walls everywhere. They may not be walls you can see with your eyes, but they are there. Massive, insurmountable walls. Political walls. Racial and cultural walls. Denominational walls. Walls of pride, selfishness, and sin. Walls. But the truth is, we were never meant to live like this-with walls dividing us, separating us. God's heart is, and always has been, for us to be united as one."
With a soulful rocky sound, the title track "Walls" emphasizes how God is stronger and more powerful than anything that might try to divide us. He tears down the walls in this world and unites His people to sing His praises and testify of His greatness, "Sing praise, we sing praise. We fill the skies with songs from our hearts. Sing praise, we sing praise till enemies know how faithful you are O God. "You Stand" captures the incredible awesomeness of God and praises the fact that He stands forever and will never let us go. "Grace That Won't Let Go" is a powerful anthem that expresses the depth of God's love for us. It reminds worshippers everywhere that God's grace is a constant and is stronger than our failures and our sin. The chorus proclaims these truths with great conviction, "Grace, amazing grace, unfailing grace that saves my soul. Grace unending, grace unrelenting, grace that won't let go." Songwriter Mark Harris comments, "It has a very universal theme that everybody can relate to because we all need what this song is saying. We need God's grace and I love that people can declare that over their lives."
