Two time GRAMMY Award winner Matt Redman has just released Unbroken Praise, a brand new worship album that was recorded live at world famous Abbey Road Studios with over 300 worship leaders present and features 11 new songs written for the church. Matt shares, "Unbroken Praise reveals a heart not wanting to be beaten down by the things of life, but to actually increase worship in those moments. I often think about how a song can travel so far around the world, but also into the deepest places of someone's heart, giving them something they can grab onto even in the craziest moments."
Having previously released the MultiTracks for Matt's fresh take on the beloved hymn, "It Is Well With My Soul" and his rousing praise anthem, "King Of My Soul," we are pleased to bring you the MultiTracks for the rest of the album today! Led by a simple piano line which gives the song a prayerful intimacy, "Abide With Me" recognizes the amazing love Jesus has for us. He experienced the pain and brokenness of this world long before and in far greater capacity than we ever will, carrying the load of our sin and shame on the cross. The song expresses our great need for Him as we navigate through the trials of this life, praying for Him to "Abide with me, Abide with me. Don't let me fall and don't let go. Walk with me and never leave. Ever close, God, abide with me." It's a beautiful modern hymn that allows worshippers to bring Jesus all their struggles, knowing that He loves them with a love that will never let them go.
Matt led "The Awesome God You Are" during this year's Passion conferences. The song is catchy and singable with a message of exaltation, lifting up praises to God and proclaiming His awesomeness, "God, let hope arise and faith become the fortress of my heart. I will lift my eyes and see You as the awesome God You are, believe You as the awesome God You are." The title track, "Unbroken Praise" is a beautiful piano-driven anthem that will speak to the hearts of worshippers, prompting them to lift up an offering of praise to God as they sing, "Unbroken praise be Yours, God, forever. All my praise be Yours, God, forever. Lord, take this life. Let it become Your throne. Unbroken praise be Yours."
