CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
Together As One is the debut studio release of Crossing Worship, the creative ministry of The Crossing which serves over 7,500 people through eleven unique campuses in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, and Kentucky.  This new project captures the heart of a church that believes God can do amazing things in the most unlikely places.  The team's desire is to declare the faithfulness of God so the lost will find Him and the found will praise Him together as one. The album's title track, "Together As One" encourages us to come together to worship Christ our foundation, united in His love.  It praises, "Every person old and young.  Every nation, every tongue.  No matter where we've been or where we're from.  Oh, your love holds us together.  As one, we will sing with your voice.  As one, make a joyful noise.  Even on that day when troubles come, oh Your love holds together as one." As its title suggests, "Psalm 23" draws its inspiration directly from the Word.  Worshippers will love the light folk style with banjo line and the familiarity of the message from the well-known Psalm is certain resonate with them as they praise, "Jesus, You are good and Your love endures.  In Your presence, I abide, in Your shelter I'm secure.  Jesus, You are good and Your mercy's new.  Every moment of my life, I will dwell in Your house forever."  A beautiful anthem that is perfect for the Easter Season, "Power of the Cross" reverently worships our Savior for his sacrifice on the Cross.  The chorus emphasizes His great love for us, "To bring us healing, you were wounded.  To show us mercy, You bore the curse that we deserved.  To win our pardon, to buy our freedom, You chose the cross, oh the power of the cross!
