Austin Stone Worship is celebrating the release of their new live worship album This Glorious Grace. This project marks the seventh recording from the 70+ member collective since The Austin Stone Community Church was planted in 2002 and features 11 songs that testify to God's grace in the lives of His people. “The motivation for this album was to capture what’s already going on in our church,” says worship pastor Aaron Ivey. “These are the songs our church is engaged with and the stories that are already happening. Each spotlights Christ alone. He can be seen in every song, heard in every lyric.”
Because the team at Austin Stone Worship desires to serve and equip the Church with content rich in theology, mission, and expression, they have also included on their website numerous resources for the album including the live performance, behind-the-story, and instrument teaching videos for each track, chord charts, and a "theology paper" that explains the biblical message of each song. “The videos, stories and resources for this project flow from a desire to bless and serve the people of The Austin Stone Community Church, and churches around the world,” says Aaron. “God is infinitely worthy of more praise. There needs to be more congregations all over the globe sitting in living rooms, cathedrals, arenas and backyards worshiping Jesus.”
This Glorious Grace reflects The Austin Stone Community Church's passion for worship and the Word. The album includes powerful worship songs such as the title track "This Glorious Grace" which confesses our deep need for Jesus' grace, and "You Never Change" which praises God for His faithfulness and constancy. Both tracks were pre-released along with the upbeat anthem, "Center My Life" which calls for people to return to Jesus as their first love, centering all that they are on Him. Aaron comments, "I constantly need my heart, my vision, my thoughts to be re-centered and realigned on Jesus Christ alone. You’ve got to do this God, because I do not have enough strength on my own to be centered on you... I think this resonates with our church also because there’s this sense of, ‘I need to be realigned, too.’”
"Jesus True And Only" is another strong anthem that focuses on the redemption that God has freely given us through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, saving us from our sins and healing our brokenness. The team at Austin Stone Worship shares, "Jesus gave all to give us life and we respond by giving Him all of our lives. He is the “true and only” worthy King!" Aaron co-wrote "Everything and Nothing Less" with renowned songwriter Jason Ingram and Jesus Culture artist Chris McClarney. It's musically rich and lyrically reverent, offering our lives to Christ as a living and holy sacrifice giving Him all that He deserves, "Everything and nothing less, I give You. Everything and nothing less, forever. Everything and nothing less, my life is Yours, completely Yours."
This is an incredible album that will bless congregations as it points people to the matchless grace of God with powerful songs that are filled with biblical truth and that encourage full surrender and worship. Check out the entire album, now available on iTunes.
