Planetshakers' new album Overflow was recorded live at the annual Planetshakers Conference in Melbourne, Australia, which was attended by over 15,000 people from all over the world. Including both the high energy EDM styled praise anthems that Planetshakers have come to be known for as well as passionate and intimate worship ballads, this new release stems from the band's heart to see people of all generations experience a life-changing encounter with God and be empowered to make a difference in their world. The team shares, "Overflow reflects the promise in Ephesians 3:20, 'Now to Him who is able to do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think, according to His power that is at work within us.' We serve a God of the Overflow and He wants to demonstrate His nature by blessing your life with abundant joy, peace and favour! Our prayer is that as you join with us in adoration of Jesus, you too will personally experience the God of overflow and super abundance."
The album's first single, "I Know Who You Are" acknowledges Jesus' sovereignty over all situations. It recognizes that He is greater than anything we might face and that He has always been faithful. With great confidence, it proclaims our trust in Him as it worships because He has made Himself known to us and His promises are true, "Lord, Maker, Savior, I know that through it all You are greater. Your love for me will never fade away. Those who hope in you will never be ashamed 'cause I know who You are." "Sings My Soul" is a beautiful hymn-like anthem that prayerfully recounts what Jesus did for us on the cross. It marvels at the great love He showed for us and proclaims His worth in a song that flows out of a heart full of adoration for the Savior. The song segues into "Heart Song," which continues the refrain and allows for open and spontaneous worship. Full of driving energy, "River" proclaims Jesus' faithfulness and with great passion, expresses a desire to completely surrender our lives to Him, singing "You are a never ending river, flowing full of power, washing over me. I will run into the water. Jesus take me deeper, saturating me."
