West Texas-based singer and songwriter Joel Vaughn has teamed up with Dream Records for his new studio release, Kinetic. The album was produced David Thulin and it contains songs that communicate the importance of deepening our relationship with Jesus Christ and taking His message of grace and love to the world.
Kinetic has a fresh pop sound that has evolved from the rock and worship styles of Joel's previous albums. From the pulsing pop synth lines in "Hysteria" which touches on the excitement of a life spent walking with God, to the strong beat and dramatic vocals of "March On," these songs all have a dynamic sound and introspective lyrics that will resonate with listeners. "Far Away" is particularly moving song on the album, opening with a soft lyrical piano and a heartfelt confession of how sometimes we feel so small and God seems so distant from us. It goes on to offer the realization that His love for us is so much greater than we could ever know and that through His grace, He has removed all barriers that would ever separate us from Him.
