GRAMMY and Dove Award winning artist Chris Tomlin has released his brand new Christmas album, Adore: Christmas Songs of Worship. This project was recorded live at Ocean Way Recording Studios in Nashville, TV, and includes a mix of classic carols and original songs that bring worship to God during the Christmas season. Featuring guest artists Lauren Daigle, Kristyn Getty, and All Sons & Daughters, this new album is filled with songs that capture the true reason for Christmas.
We previously released the MultiTracks for "Adore," a tender worship ballad that expresses heartfelt devotion to Jesus. It reverently calls for all to corporately worship, "Adore, come let us adore, O come let us adore Him. The Lord, worship Christ the Lord. Let all that is within us adore." Another great song is "He Shall Reign Forevermore," a joyful anthem written by Chris Tomlin and Matt Maher that rings out praises to the Messiah. The verses show how Christ brought His light to a dark world, pulling from the classic hymn "In The Bleak Midwinter." The chorus comes in with an explosive proclamation, contrasting with the atmosphere of the verses as it announces, "He shall reign forevermore, forevermore. And He shall reign forevermore, forevermore. Unto us a child is born, King of kings and Lord of lords. And He shall reign forevermore, forevermore."
One of the standouts on the album is "Noel" led by Lauren Daigle. It's powerful song that examines God's amazing plan of redemption and love and is sure to be sung in churches all over this Christmas, "Noel, Noel, come and see what God has done. Noel, Noel, the story of amazing love! The light of the world given for us, Noel." Worshippers will also love Chris's versions of some of their favorite carols such as "Silent Night" and "What Child Is This" which features guest vocals from All Sons & Daughters.
Adore: Christmas Songs of Worship is now available worldwide on iTunes. We encourage you to check out the entire album today!
