Covenant Worship's latest live album, Take Heart, which was recorded last fall at Covenant Church's annual worship arts conference and was produced by GRAMMY Award winner Israel Houghton, celebrates the greatness of God, drawing its inspiration from Jesus' words in John 16:33, "In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Joshua DuFrene, who serves as one of the worship leaders for Covenant Worship and co-wrote many of the songs on the album, comments, "My greatest desire for this project is that it would bring hope and encouragement to everyone that hears it.  One of the things we were very intentional about during the writing process for this record was making sure we had the name of Jesus in our lyrics. There is something unexplainable that happens when we sing His name together. The atmosphere changes… I want people to play these songs and experience the hope, freedom, healing, and victory that comes when we lift up the name above every name, the matchless name of Jesus." The album's title track, "Take Heart" encourages worshippers to trust in the might and power of our Savior, reminding us that the One who has overcome is always on our side.  "Take heart, the Light has come. Take heart. Our God is for us. We stand in the Savior's love, the only love that will last forever."  "Motivation" is a rousing anthem that reflects a heart that has been transformed by the love of Jesus and a purpose to proclaim His light to the world, "I stand, and shout. I'm living to sing of this love I have and make a sound. I'm living to give all I am to shine Your light around. Your the beating heart inside of me and Jesus You're my motivation."  It truly celebrates the life we have in Him.  "Isn't the Name" is a gorgeous ballad written by Jonathan Stockstill of Baton Rouge's Bethany Worship.  It expresses complete adoration for Jesus and declares the power of the name that heals us and sets us free, exalting, "Eternal king, You will reign forever. And we will sing the glory of Your name. Be lifted high, for all the world to see. Your name is all they need, Your name is all we need." Worship leader, Colin Edge shares, "Sometimes we can forget the power that we have when we worship together.  The Word says that two can put ten thousand to flight, and the way a song can unify people in one voice is an incredible thing. So when we sing these songs that remind us how big our God is and how we are strong as his Church, courage always rises up in the hearts of everyone who hears."
