We will be heading to Sydney, Australia next week for the Hillsong Conference 2016! This is a landmark year for Hillsong as they are celebrating the Conference's 30th Anniversary. Hillsong Church pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston write, "Over 30 years, we have seen multitudes find home in salvation with Jesus Christ, and countless others find a home in a thriving and healthy local church. Though the music and preachers, themes and programs have changed and evolved – our mandate and passion has remained the same. Our heart is and will continue to be, championing the cause of local churches, everywhere." We are excited to be a part of the gathering this year. This year, the Conference's focus is on the Great Commission with the theme, "COME: His Invitation; GO: Our Echo." It comes on the heels of last year's theme, "Speak: We're Listening" as it encourages believers to follow the mandate Jesus laid out for all of us in Matthew 28 to "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
