With the recent release of Playback and it's ease of use as an iPad app, we’re excited to release a catalog of songs that's ready made for your Kid’s church and we’re starting with four great albums which are now available! These tracks prove that kids worship can be exciting, musical, relevant, and with Playback you can train your kids to run it! Let’s be honest, many of them know how to work your iPad better than you do.
New Life Worship Kids released We Belong to Jesus in January of this year. The music takes on modern worship stylings to bring a worship experience that is relevant and yet approachable with musical and lyrical hooks that are singable for kids. The lead adult singer, Jared Anderson, and band compliment the chorus of children very well, with arrangements that are both fun and meaningful. We have added two songs today from this album: "Impossible Possible," with it's upbeat message that Jesus can do anything, and the worshipful "Strong God," which encourages kids to "Sing out, lift your voice and cry out. Awesome is our strong God! Mighty is our God."
From Gateway Next, there are two releases on our lineup: Look Up and Ready to Go. The title track,"Look Up," is clever with video game sounds and a pop-dance beat, hooky backgrounds, and musical stops. "My Heart" not only gets the kids dancing and singing with the worship team, but lyrically gives kids an opportunity to ask God to change them and "turn my heart into something that is beautiful." On the album, Ready to Go, the same pop-influenced tracks captivate and entertain. "Wannabe" is a cry to be more like Jesus. "Ready To Go" brings in a bit of southern-pop-rock framing reminding kids that Jesus calls us to make a difference.
The last release featured in our our catalog for kids comes from North Point Kids. Shine has tracks that will surely not only entertain the kids in worship, but the band as well. The rock power guitars sound off appropriately for "Unlock The Power." "Books Of The Bible" might remind you of the old Sunday school days. But, add a Toby-Mac-like track and you can have a moment sounding more like School of Rock.
