Today we’re releasing Playback 2.0 for iPhone and iPad. This version has been in the works for a number of months and it introduces a few new features including Infinite Loop, Key Names, and Playback User Management.
New Features in Playback 2.0
Playback is now available on the iPhone
Playback is now more accessible then ever before. We’ve kept all the same features that you love in the iPhone version and added a feature to toggle between the wavform and mixer to optimize the smaller screen. We’ve also added a “Power Saver” feature that will help improve the experience on older devices running Playback.
Key Name in the File Name
Now, when you load in a song, you’ll see the key of the song listed at the end of a song’s title. This is a small enhancement that makes using Playback easier, especially when managing a large song catalog. No more guessing which key you loaded in before rehearsal.
Infinite Loop
If you’ve ever tried intro/speak/exhort during a song section while running MultiTracks, then you’ll really appreciate this feature. Infinite loop allows you to loop a song section continually until you deactivate it. Now there is no need to press loop ever time a repeat is necessary. In addition, if you want to preset a song section to continually loop, you can do that in the EDIT menu before service. When you get to that song section it will automatically repeat it continually until you deactivate by pressing Infinite Loop again. This is also a great practice tool to repeat a section during your rehearsal time. (Featured in Pro version)
Playback User Management
With Playback now available on iPhone, you can now give your team access to tracks in Playback. Playback User Management lets you create users that can log into 2 of their devices to access content you’ve purchased from MultiTracks.com or uploaded to your MultiTracks Cloud™ account. This is a great solution to allow your team to rehearse with Playback or give volunteer worship leaders access to your content while keeping your admin account secure.
