Indie Showcase - Response by Woodside Worship

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
We are pleased to showcase the MultiTracks from Woodside Worship's debut release, Response.  The team, which is a collection of worship leaders from across the 10 campuses of Woodside Bible Church in the Detroit area, shares that their main objective is to create "Wall to Wall" worship no matter what venue they lead in.  "We want the person in the back of the auditorium to be just as fired up about the things of God as the Worship Leader. We hope and pray that the music of Woodside Worship is a blessing to you personally as well as your church family." Response offers a fresh, congregational sound through a great mix of upbeat praise and heartfelt worship taken straight from the Word.  "Can't Be Broken" is a catchy anthem that congregations are sure to respond to.  It praises God's faithfulness and affirms the hope and trust we place in Jesus's hands, rejoicing that "Your love can't be broken.  Your spirit lives in me.  When I fall, when I fall, Lord, You rescue me.  Your grace abounds forever beyond my wandering.  Take it all, take it all, Lord, my offering."  With it's dance-praise beats and electronic sounds, "Alive" testifies of the way Jesus found us when we needed Him most and renewed and transformed us.  It praises, "And You breathed in life, now I’m alive in You, Yeah You breathed in life, now I'm alive in You. Yeah, You called my name and You took my shame. You made me new. Now I’m alive in You. I'm alive in You, alive in You!" "Presence" opens up softly, meditating on the Holiness of God and expressing a desire to dwell in His presence.  The chorus worships, "Beautiful, Your glory, Lord.  Holy, holy holy.  And oh, who can behold Your glory, glory, Lord?  You are holy, holy, Lord."  After building dramatically and emphasizing God's glory and majesty, the music fades back at the end, allowing the voices to shine through in prayerful, corporate exaltation.
