Christmas MultiTracks from Austin Stone Worship - A Day Of Glory

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
As you continue to plan for your Christmas worship services, we are excited to bring you the MultiTracks from Austin Stone Worship's Christmas album, A Day Of Glory.  This release, which celebrates the incarnation of Jesus Christ, features a mix of live and studio recordings, classic Christmas hymns and originals led by Aaron Ivey, Justin Cofield, Jimmy McNeal and Todd Agnew. Worshippers will appreciate Austin Stone Worship's rich arrangements of traditional carols such as "O Holy Night" and "O Come O Come Emmanuel."  "Joy To The World" takes the Christmas classic and gives it a plenty of energy, inserting in a new chorus that joyfully proclaims, "All of Heaven and all creation sings the wonders of His love!" "A Day Of Glory" visits the birth of Christ with great excitement and rejoicing.  Austin Stone Worship shares, "The lyrics of the song “Day of Glory” cause us to reflect on the glorious reality of Christ’s coming and to direct our hearts toward the future day of glory when we will behold our great King in the fullness of His majesty."  The song proclaims the good news of Jesus' birth and rejoices in the assurance that one day, He will come again. Based on the classic hymn by Philip Paul Bliss, "Hallelujah What a Savior" worships the Savior with reverence and tenderness, praising God's faithfulness and love.  The team comments, "The word ‘Hallelujah’ carries with it all the weight of what Christmas means to us: the nearness of God. God isn’t just the omnipotent and unsearchable Elohim. He is Yahweh: the God who had invited His people to encounter Him personally. That truth is never clearer to us than at Christmas. Jesus’ birth is the evidence that God doesn’t just say He wants to be near and known, but He makes a way, at great cost to Himself, to come near. At the heart of this song is the fullness of the word Hallelujah: praise the God who makes Himself known; praise the God who has come near. What a Savior, indeed." Be sure to download a copy of the album, available on iTunes.  Also check out all of Austin Stone Worship's resources for the album, including the theology, song story and teaching videos for each song.
