New from Planetshakers - Legacy, Part 2: Passion

Legacy, Part 2: Passion is the newest release from Planetshakers and it features 4 new songs recorded live with 20,000 worshipers during the 4-day Planetshakers Conference held this past April.  This latest EP is the second of the band's Legacy releases which will culminate in a full-length album releasing this September.  Worship leader Sam Evans, who along with her husband Russell is one of the founders and Senior Pastors of Planetshakers Church, comments, “It’s a great privilege to be part of the legacy known as Planetshakers.  Our hope is that Legacy captures the freedom of praise and the power of the encounter because we can’t keep this experience to ourselves.”  These new songs, "Passion," "Prophesy, "We Speak Life" and "You Call Me Beautiful" all blend Planetshakers' bold sound with lyrics that bring our most heartfelt praise to Jesus.  Download your copy today on iTunes and pick up the Original Masters here on MultiTracks.com.

"Love Has a Name" - Guest Blog from Kim Walker-Smith

This week, we are bringing you a special guest post from Kim Walker-Smith in which she shares the heart behind Jesus Culture's newest single, "Love Has a Name." I wrote the song “Love Has a Name” with my friends Ran and Ricky Jackson. We wanted to write a song that expressed who God is to us in every season, in the highs and lows of life He is there for us. There are so many different seasons and circumstances that we walk through in our lives, and we wanted to find a way to express how the Lord can meet us through each one. When I’m in a tough season of fighting to believe a promise of God, He is my promise, He is my breakthrough. When I’m overwhelmed and stressed out, He encourages me with His peace. When I’m sad or discouraged, He is my comforter, and I can lean on Him for joy! I believe it deepens our relationship with God when we can see how He is the personification of love to us. I hope that this song can remind people of who God ism and how He is everything we need. - Kim Walker- Smith
