Whitney Wood | "Song of Restoration"

Singer/Songwriter Whitney Wood shares, "'Song of Restoration' is written from a place of immense loss. I have been struggling with chronic illness for the last six years and have had many conversations with God asking why? Most of the words were written on a car drive home after a painful day filled with questions and He reminded me of promises He had made years ago. I may have forgotten them, but He didn't. The words came out of me... 'This is a song of restoration, fulfillment of the waiting, returning what was lost.' Chronic pain has flipped my life upside down and has essentially been the death of many dreams I had once had. It has, at times, made me feel so behind and that I missed out on a life that would never come to fruition. Again, the words flowed 'What we thought was dead is now brimming with life, what was buried instead is now growing inside.' My prayer is that this song reminds you that God is always moving even if we're in a waiting season. He has not forgotten you and he does not break His promises. It might look different than we think, but God always brings beauty from ashes and takes us on a journey we couldn't even imagine possible. Whatever has been lost or broken in your life, God always restores and redeems what was lost."

ELEVATION RHYTHM | "WALK ON WATER"

ELEVATION RHYTHM has released their latest single "WALK ON WATER". Tiffany Hammer and Davide Mutendji share this song is, "a fun expression of what it means to step out in faith and trust God when He calls. The song comes straight from the heart of Matthew chapter 14 when Jesus not only walks on water, but invites Peter to do the same. The playful lyric, 'Just put one foot in front of the other,' teaches us that trusting God is not a one-time decision, but a step-by-step process. Our prayer for the song is that you begin to realize that whatever impossible situation you find yourself in, you can have the confidence to step out on the water."

Red Letter Society | Into Light

Original Master MultiTracks for Into Light from Red Letter Society are now available! They share with us the story behind the album below.

Even as worship leaders, we are not immune to the attack of depression.  The songs of Into Light were birthed during one of those dark seasons of attack. In the pit of misery, the promises of God seem distant and fake. However, in the darkest times it is important to proclaim the truth of God’s faithfulness over our circumstances. Psalm 40:2-3 (ESV) reminds of this truth:

He drew me up from the pit of destruction,
    out of the miry bog,
and set my feet upon a rock,
    making my steps secure.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
and put their trust in the Lord.

This passage became the anthem that pushed us toward writing the entire Into Light album. Over fear and depression, Into Light sings new songs of the promise of God—He is our Light, our Hope, and our Peace.

The McClures | "Christmas Morning"

Paul and Hannah McClure’s new single and title track from their upcoming EP is titled "Christmas Morning" — a joyous and celebratory song that encompasses the excitement and hope of the season. Christmas morning symbolizes the day the world received the best news it had ever heard, that Jesus, the rescuer was coming. Living in the reality of Jesus means living a life where every day feels like “Christmas Morning”.

Dream Christmas | Vol. 5

DREAM Label Group has released the fifth volume in the DREAM Christmas series. Vol. 5 makes room for 8 new and classic songs from Switch, Royal Company, Branan Murphy, 29:11 Worship, Matthew Parker, Joel Vaughn, Life.Church Worship, and Futures. "This year has been one of the hardest years yet for so many people around the world," says GM & Partner, Lance Brown. "We thought we'd bring the joy of CHRISTmas to everybody with our artists a bit earlier this year.  We hope these songs bring the spirit of the season in a way where they can forget about the stresses of the day even for a moment."

Midway Music | "New Name"
