Brian Ortize | Worship Collection

“I created this collection of worship songs because I love to lead these songs in my church! Not only have these songs ministered to me and my family over this past year, but I feel that these are songs that the church needs to sing in 2020. I pray that wherever you are today, these prayers set to music would have a meaningful impact on you and would help you to focus your eyes on Jesus! The song ‘Another In the Fire’ reminds us of the promise that we are not alone. Regardless of what we are currently facing, whether it be fire or raging waters, God is both with us and also in control!"

Brian Ortize's Worship Collection features "Another In the Fire" and more! Original Master MultiTracks are now available.

Chris Renzema | Let the Ground Rest B Sides

Dove Award-nominated Chris Renzema releases Let The Ground Rest – B-Sidesrecorded in the famed Nashville studio The Smoakstack. The EP features five live studio performances, including three versions of songs from his widely acclaimed sophomore LP of the same name, along with two new songs thematically connected to the album: “Tear My House Down” and the American Songwriter-featured single “Mercy.” The new music is a window into how the songs were formed while on tour.

“What’s cool about working out of The Smoakstack is that we got to play together as a band. Making music as a group feels less mechanical and more human. A lot of what I wrote for the last project has taken on new meaning in the pandemic, and singing about waiting on a season to change or sitting it out through a hard time means a lot more to me now that it did then.”

Foothills Collective | Look No Further

“Look No Further” by Foothills Collective was written out of a desire for people to lay aside the temporary things in the world and replace them with the life that Jesus brings. "The answer to all of the problems, struggles, and questions we could ever have is simply Jesus. John 10:10 says 'The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.'"

New Podcast Episode with JJ Hairston

We’re so excited to kick off Black History Month 2021 with this conversation between Chris Baker and JJ Hairston.

Chris and JJ talk about how artists wanting to echo what’s popular is an epidemic in the music industry today, and that being excited about your unique identity yields more longevity than chasing what’s popular.

JJ also encourages all of us that even in this long season of waiting, we’re all still growing and we’ll be even more prepared for the next season because we’ve faced such a long moment of not having our typical comfort crutches to lean on. Don’t miss this episode of The Worship and Technology Podcast!
