The song comes straight from the heart of Matthew chapter 14 when Jesus not only walks on water, but invites Peter to do the same. The playful lyric, 'Just put one foot in front of the other,' teaches us that trusting God is not a one-time decision, but a step-by-step process. Our prayer for the song is that you begin to realize that whatever impossible situation you find yourself in, you can have the confidence to step out on the water."
