Garreth is a singer/songwriter and worship leader from Johannesburg, South Africa. He has a heart for worship and is passionate to see God’s people experience an intimate encounter with Jesus. He’s married to his amazing wife, Jackie and they have 2 wonderful kids, Daniel and Zoë.

He had a personal encounter with God in 2007 which changed his life forever, experiencing deliverance from addiction, conviction of the sinful life he was living, and had a personal revelation of the Living God. He’s since devoted his life to be used by God and dedicates everything God has graciously given back to Him. He started his musical journey at the age of 10 at the Drakensberg Boys Choir and studied with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) and UNISA, and music’s been a big part of his life ever since.

One of the prevailing sources of inspiration for songwriting has been an inspired word from the Lord, or revelation of God through prayer or worship, carrying a very personal message, but one that is not unique to one person. We all face challenges that others can relate to, and writing songs about his own challenges that others can relate to as a source of encouragement and strength is his primary motivation for writing and releasing music.

His musical influences are mainly Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake, and mainstream worship teams Hillsong, Bethel, Elevation Worship and Jesus Culture. He hopes that through His music, people will have an encounter with Jesus, which will help them grow in their intimacy and love for God.
