Five-time GRAMMY award-winning mixing engineer Manny Marroquin has partnered with Waves to bring you The Manny Marroquin Signature Series Collection. Marroquin's resume includes artists such as The Rolling Stones, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars, Mat Kearny, Kirk Franklin and many more. Manny has spent years developing and crafting his sound and now you have access to six plugins that are simple to use and they can take your recordings to another level.
The Waves Manny Marroquin Signature bundle features six plug-ins:
Reverb: a convolution based reverb with 18 types of effect, an equalizer, a compressor, a phaser and a distortion. If you're a beginner, it's easy to set it and forget it or if you're a novice there's enough detail and options to satisfy you and help you dial in the reverb sound you're looking for.
Delay: a delay served with a reverb, a distortion, a doubler/harmonizer, reverse-linked high and low-pass filters and separate controls for the stereo channels
Triple D: a triple vocal processor with DeBoxy, DeHarsher and DeEsser functions. A user friendly way to help get rid of unwanted frequencies. Instead of looking at an intimidating graphical EQ or NR plugin, you're looking at 3 big knobs with the ability to dial in the frequency, how much you want to get rid of, and even a Listen Button to only hear that signal.
Tone Shaper: 4-band linear-phase parallel compressor. It's great for warming up, brightening, or bringing clarity to a pad. It also sounds great on drums or any percussive loops.
Distortion: a distortion effect with attack and release controls, low-pass filter, 3-band EQ with variable mid frequency, that can be used on guitars, voices, and other instruments
EQ: a 4-band equalizer and high and low-pass filter. Each cutoff point is inspired by hardware units (Quad 8, Motown, Neve 1073, API 550B, Avalon 2055, SSL 9080 XL K)
As a worship leader, these plugins are great tools to add to your arsenal whether you're new to plugins or an avid user. Not only are the plugins meant to be easy to use, but they also come with several presets from Manny that will help you achieve extraordinary results.
